well as graphic arts, rocketry, forestry, photography, bicycles, and much more.

give their time teaching others, especially in low-income areas. Master
Gardeners offer workshops at community gardens, answer questions on our Help

MASTER FOOD PRESERVER
- The Master Food Preserver (MFP) Program extends
Cooperative Extension's research-based knowledge on the scientific methods of
preserving food at home safely while maintaining optimum quality. Certified
Master Food Preserver volunteers diagnose problems and answer questions
regarding methods of preserving food at home safely. An MFP Volunteer provides
assistance to the general public by telephone or in person at farmers' markets,
county festivals, and other community events. MFP Volunteers also conduct
monthly public demonstration workshops. The Master Food Preservers offer public
classes to teach the art and science of all phases of preserving food safely at
home. If you are interested in becoming a master food preserver please call the
MFP hotline for more information at (909)387-2194. For more information on
upcoming classes please see our calendar of events
page.
